#1 Curiosity Might Have Saved The Cat | Weekly Newsletter
The quote that annoyed me, the twist I found, and how it led to this weekly curiosity adventure. It started with a smirk and a saying - now it’s a space for curious minds to grow, explore, and play.

Heeeey there,
Happy to have you here, curious fellow! Wondering what this is all about? Well…
Not long ago, someone at a networking event told me, with a smirk, “Curiosity killed the cat.” Why? Because I was talking about my desire to dive into academic fields outside of marketing or communication. We agreed to disagree and moved on.
But that phrase stuck with me.
It annoyed me.
So when I got home, I looked it up. Not to argue, but to understand where it came from. And what I found was actually… pretty great:
▶️ “Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back.”
YESSSS! - my first thought.
Wait, so curiosity didn’t kill the cat? It saved it?! - my second.
Wait. I might be onto something here… - my third.
